With our last tip of the week we had already explained the basics of our damage management module in Rentoffice Classic. The optimal documentation of the vehicle condition is extremely important and we therefore make every effort to make the processes as uncomplicated and fast as possible. The damage management module naturally enables the recording and processing of damage during check-outs and check-ins, as well as independently of a procedure, and the detailed documentation of the condition. However, the module can only be called up from Rentoffice Classic and is not suitable for mobile handover and return.
Our new Fleetinspector is available as a beta version for this purpose. It enables the realization of check-outs and check-ins return directly from the vehicle via tablet and the visual documentation of the vehicle condition also on site with the customer. Mobile check-out and check-in naturally brings many advantages, as employees can carry out check-ins and checkouts more efficiently and faster and transparency towards customers is guaranteed.
With Fleetinspector, damages can be simply by drag and drop and described and documented in detail using images and categories. In addition, the vehicle condition check can be optimized with the help of preconfigured checklists. A handover protocol is then digitally signed by the customer and the employee.
The tool is available for Rentoffice Classic as well as Cloud and includes following features:
Fleetinspector is accessible via contracts or vehicles. Once you have opened the tool, you can edit the condition of a vehicle through the vehicle view or return or handover a vehicle digitally through the contract view. Recording and processing of damage is possible at any time.
