Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Italy and moved to Germany at the age of 20. I also lived in the Netherlands for a while! I like to think of myself as a citizen of the world and I think that's one of the reasons why I feel so comfortable in the international team at KMS.
Why (what was your motivation) to apply/start at kms?
I was looking for an opportunity to deepen my technical skills as well as offer my customer service and sales skills in an environment where I can really make a difference. It is also important to me to work in a field that I can support ethically. As I believe that car sharing and the rental concept in general are a great step towards sustainable mobility, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to become part of the KMS story. I was also aware that KMS has a hybrid work policy that would allow me to achieve the work-life balance I wanted.
What exactly do you do at KMS?
I am a Customer Success Executive. I deal with support requests from our customers, support sales in the area of upselling, provide technical presentations to our customers and prospective customers and ensure our internal support documentation is growing and up to date. I am also heavily involved in bug reporting and feature requests, which I really enjoy as I learn something new outside of my traditional work area every day!
What do you find exciting about KMS?
I feel like I started at KMS at the perfect moment. Things are moving in a very promising direction and I am so excited and curious to see and help shape future developments.
What surprised you most about KMS?
I love the open-door culture and the open-mindedness. I've never had a work environment where my ideas were so valued and actively encouraged as they are at KMS. Literally everyone here is eager to learn, communicate and share knowledge. The team feeling is strong, even though we have a hybrid way of working and don't see each other every day. That's something you can only achieve if people feel valued, and we definitely do that here. Also, I am really glad that the concept of "flat hierarchy" is not just a phrase here: we communicate, regardless of level or position, with openness, respect and a willingness to learn from each other.
