Dear customers and partners,
another year of global challenges and upheavals is ending. Above all, the tragedies in Ukraine and Israel, but also many climate-related disasters, characterized the news. Rising interest rates and inflation were the main challenges for our industry, as was the growing shortage of skilled labor. To counter the latter, intelligent systems are needed to meet the new requirements in the mobility market with the help of a high degree of automation and fewer staff to continue to inspire customers.
At KMS, the year was characterized by major milestones that we were able to achieve. On the one hand, we are delighted that our team has continued to grow to over 45 employees. On the other hand, we were able to realize a large number of exciting customer projects and launched the first products from our completely newly developed product lines onto the market.
Among other things, we launched our new White label booking frontend for the Abo & Rent Hyra brand for our customer Volvo Switzerland. We also launched our new Abo OS product specifically for the B2B sector and have already processed thousands of bookings for our first customers. The product line was completed with our new version of the FleetInspector app for mobile handover and damage recording on the vehicle itself.
In the first half of next year, we plan to take the next big step towards our mission of offering a holistic solution for all forms of mobility. We also plan to fully integrate the classic rental business into the new product line and offer the subscription for the B2C segment as well. This will make us one of the few providers to offer a modern platform that offers all major forms of mobility. We will also continue to work on integrations, as we are convinced that the future belongs to connectivity in the mobility ecosystem.
We are also looking forward to an intensive dialogue with our customers, partners and interested parties in the coming year, as we are only able to offer you the best solution thanks to constant feedback from our operational business.
