as the new year begins, it is an opportunity to reflect on the past year and look ahead to an exciting 2025. Despite many challenges in the mobility industry, KMS Mobility Solutions has once again turned these into growth opportunities and achieved remarkable milestones that will continue to drive sustainable mobility for our customers.
Review of the 2024 Achievements
In 2024, we focused on expanding our solution for further international customers as well as functionalities relating to electrification, sustainability and the merging of rent and subscription in our solution. Key milestones include the successful launch of Rent-OS, the successor to our long-established RentOffice solution, for the first pilot customers in the European automotive market. This project enabled the seamless migration of over 370 stations, 1,000 users, 2,000 vehicles and 500,000 customer records - all from a third-party system in an impressive timeframe of just ten days. This milestone not only underlined the expertise of our team but also demonstrated our ability to deliver complex solutions within a tight timeframe.
In July, we then launched One-OS, which integrates the functionalities of Rent-OS and Abo-OS into a single platform. This system rationalizes rental, and subscription services and improves operational efficiency and the customer experience. This product launch further strengthens our position as an innovation leader in the mobility industry.
Our IT service team delivered important Salesforce-based optimizations for vehicle purchasing and sales processes. We also introduced the KMS Hub, an API middleware that ensures seamless integration between KMS systems and external solutions. These initiatives emphasize our commitment to providing innovative, state-of-the-art solutions for our customers.
In 2024, our team grew to 47 employees to meet the demands of our growing client base and ambitious projects. We are proud of our diverse workforce, which emphasizes our commitment to fostering an inclusive and dynamic workplace.
Industry Trends and the Role of KMS
In 2024, key industry trends shaped the mobility landscape, including the growing demand for the electrification of fleets amid market uncertainties (e.g. removal of e-subsidies and residual value issues), the rise of subscription-based mobility models and the push towards integrated end-to-end digital solutions.
KMS responded with One-OS, a standardized platform that combines rental and subscription operations in a single system. This innovation offers more flexibility, efficiency and future-proof mobility management.
Sustainability Initiatives
Nachhaltige Mobilität mithilfe von Technologie zu ermöglichen ist die Vision von KMS. Hier sind wir ein gutes Stück voarngekommen, denn bereits über 35 % des, von unserer Software verwalteten Fuhrparks, ist inzwischen elektrisch. KMS unterstützte zudem die „One More Tree Foundation“, deren Schwerpunkt auf Umweltschutz, Stadtbegrünung und Community-Bewusstsein liegt.
Outlook to 2025
Our roadmap for 2025 focuses on the further development of the One-OS platform with new functions and operational improvements, including the integration of the Fleetinspector- app as a versatile add-on for mobile vehicle handover including damage assessment via app. We will also begin the transition of pilot customers of our Rentoffice legacy solution to One-OS, focusing on innovation, seamless mobility management and customer-centric improvements.
