Where are you from?

I am originally from Bilbao; I am living in Spandau since 2013. Somehow, I prefer Union Berlin over Hertha BSC.

Why (what was your motivation) to apply/start at KMS?

Back in the mid-2000s, I spent several years working on casual games/apps with some friends. The games were cute and some of them achieved a decent number of downloads, I didn't become a millionaire though. Later I moved to Berlin and switched to web technologies. At the end of my parental leave, I was searching for a dev position with flexible working time. I was lucky enough to be invited to work 2 days with the KMS Team. It worked good for me and (hopefully) for the company.

What specifically are you doing at KMS?

I am a Software developer; I mainly work implementing functionalities for Rentoffice Cloud. My colleagues appointed me as Chief Meme Officer, but I have given up this task lately. After work, I spend several hours in a park, basically until my daughter gets tired.

What are you excited about at KMS?

Healthy work culture is in place and the team is open to good practices. With these foundations, I am quite hopeful about what the team can achieve in the medium term.

What surprised you the most about KMS?

When I joined in 2018 the team was significantly smaller. At that time, I was surprised by the versatility of the colleagues. Since then, the company has grown x10 in terms of team members, but those early members linger on. I see this as a good sign about our team culture.
